چکیده
The idea of delivering drugs through skin is old, as the use reported back in 16th century B.C. husk castor oil plant water was placed on an aching head. Today transdermal drug delivery well accepted for to systemic circulation. aim this study design a compound patches containing ondansetrone HCL and dexamethasone treatment nausea vomiting case chemotherapy regular symptom vomiting. In present work, attempt has been made develop matrix-type therapeutic system comprising Ondansetron-HCl Dexamethasone different ratios hydrophilic hydrophobic polymeric combinations with 15% w/v plasticizer 5% penetration enhancer were mixed polymer solution using solvent evaporation technique. further subjected various characterization studies prepared along thickness, tensile strength, folding endurance, % elongation, moisture content, uptake, vitro permeation Franz diffusion cells. Obtained results showed no physical-chemical incompatibility between polymers. On basis obtained from, strength (18±0.16), endurance (126 ± 1 68 2), content (2.9±0.4), (92.41 98.9 %), TPEC (Transdermal Patches Ethyl Cellulose) selected optimized formulation. release batch, TPEC-1 followed by zero-order formulation 62.69 within 10 hours. Conclusively, considered deliver safely longer period often.

BACKGROUND AND THE PURPOSE OF THE STUDY Lercanidipine hydrochloride (LRDP) is used in the treatment of hypertension because of its selectivity and specificity on the smooth vascular cells. The pharmacokinetic parameters make LRDP a suitable candidate for transdermal delivery. The purpose of the study was to select a suitable formulation for the development of transdermal drug-delivery system (T...
متن کاملIn-vitro, Ex-vivo Skin Permeation and Biological Evaluation of 18-β- Glycyrrhitic Acid Transdermal Patches
Objective: Transdermal patch is a promising approach that allows continuous input of drugs with short biological half-lives. 18 β-Glycyrrhitic acid (GA) is chemically pentacyclic triterpenoid which possess powerful antiinflammatory action. The present study was designed to formulate GA reservoir-type transdermal patches using piperine as bioenhancer. Method: Transdermal Patch of GA was prepared...
متن کاملDevelopment of Matrix Type Transdermal Patches of Lacidipine: Evaluation of Physicochemical, in vitro, ex vivo and Mechanical Properties
Transdermal patches were developed for a low oral bioavailable drug, lacidipine (LCDP) employing ethyl cellulose/Eudragit RL100 and polyvinyl pyrollidone (PVP) as polymeric matrices. The effect of binary mixtures of polymers on physicochemical properties such as thickness, moisture absorption and moisture content; in vitro release, ex vivo permeation and mechanical properties was evaluated. Ex ...
متن کاملFormulation and Evaluation of Transdermal Films of Ondansetron Hydrochloride
Transdermal delivery of ondansetron hydrochloride is one of the promising ways to maximize the therapy in contrast to oral delivery. Current investigation efforts are focused in formulating the ondansetron hydrochloride matrix-type transdermal film by incorporating hydrophilic and hydrophobic polymers. In this study, ondansetron hydrochloride transdermal films were prepared using solvent evapor...
