چکیده

Drilling and completion fluids may cause significant formation damage in oil gas reservoirs, directly affecting productivity. For many years, operators have applied different stimulation practices such as acidizing, oxidizers, chelating agents, enzyme treatment to remove associated with drilling filter cake. An enzyme-based biological was combined other chemicals or additives a selective well clean-up practice improve removing polymer content the However, secondary deep cleaning of invaded zone wettability alteration remained main concern. This paper presents development an innovative fluid formulation by immobilizing nanoparticle Bio-Nano Well Clean-Up Fluid (BNWC) potassium chloride brine enhance WBM cake removal. Several bulk experiments, including; precipitation, iodine test, viscosity measurement, demonstrate enzyme's optimization, concentration, base brine. BNWC showed highest HPHT filtration rate at 200 °F differential pressure 100 psi increased more than 90 percent compared conventional same Contact angle measurements confirmed carbonate rock water-wet, IFT higher mobility potential. Finally, core flooding tests reservoir conditions 300 enhancement injection 50% improvement permeability after damage. The immobilization has been developed successfully for applications bioremediation, farming, industries, but novelty this research demonstrates application nanobiocatalysts first time. enhances enzymatic activity removes primary

Deep Bed Filtration Modelling of Formation Damage Due to Particulate Invasion from Drilling Fluids

A Deep Bed Filtration model has been developed to quantify the effect of solids invasion from drilling fluids on the permeability of rock formations. The calculated particletrapping profiles are compared directly with experimental profiles from scanning electron microscopy and synchrotron X -ray diffraction tomography mapping. The computed permeability reduction as a consequence of particle inv...

INVERT FLUID FLOCCULATION – A Novel Technique for Drilling Fluid Recycling

Solids control equipment at the rig site is used to remove rock cuttings or low-gravity solids (LGS) from drilling fluids to allow the fluid to return to the active system in a re-usable condition. Typical equipment, such as shakers and centrifuges, remove LGS particles greater than 5-7 microns. Build up of finer solids in the fluid can create problems for efficient drilling such as drillpipe s...
