Developing IoT Artifacts in a MAS Platform

The Internet of Things (IoT) is a growing computational paradigm where all kinds everyday objects are interconnected, forming vast cyberphysical environment at the edge between virtual and real world. Since emergence IoT, Multi-Agent Systems (MAS) technology has been successfully applied in this area, proving itself to be an appropriate for developing distributed, intelligent systems containing sets IoT devices. However, still lacks effective mechanisms integrate enormous diversity existing devices systematically. In context, paper introduces concept artifact as new interface abstraction development MAS based on strictly conforms Agents Artifacts (A&A) meta-model, it also adopts programming model SPADE multi-agent platform, providing both consistent theoretical framework practical real-world applications.
