Light trapping is a crucial mechanism for synchronization in optical communication. Especially on the level of single photons, control exact emission time desirable. In this paper, single-photon buffering device composed quantum dot doped with Mn atom cavity theoretically proposed. A method to detain photon as an excitation presented. The storage scheme based bright dark exciton conversion performed off-resonant external field and mediated via spin-flip magnetic ion. induced Stark shift brings both states resonance results transfer optically inactive one. stored can be read out demand same manner by repopulating state, which has short lifetime. indicate possibility suspend almost two orders magnitude longer than lifetime exciton.
