Specific surface area is an important property of porous materials and a crucial index in multiple disciplines, which mainly measured using nitrogen isotherms the Brunauer–Emmett-Teller (BET) equation. The BET remarkably higher than geometric area, defined as crystal geometry structure. However, many studies directly use area. We proposed simple, general, accurate method that only needs adsorption isotherm input to calculate mesoporous materials. considers adsorptive potential influences physical state adsorbed estimating utilized 18 generated by molecular simulations actual experiments cover wide range materials, including minerals, catalysts, carbon-based tubes, validate effectiveness method.
