Determination of the Relationship Between Dental Anxiety and Oral Hygiene Awareness

Background: The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between dental & oral hygiene and health awareness.
 
 Methods: A total 431 subjects were included in study. questionnaire sent over internet asked fill out forms. first part questions about sociodemographic findings such as age, gender, frequency visits, brushing, use extra instruments awareness hygiene. second includes Modified Dental Anxiety Scale (MDAS) measures subjects' anxiety levels.
 Results: Based on “cut off” value ≥19, 6.7% (n=29) participants found have high levels. While females (11.35±4.49) had higher than males (10.43±4.12) there a statistically significant difference MDAS levels by gender (p=0.046); No according education (p=0.680). who interface brushes those do not (p=0.028); degree significance going dentist (p
