چکیده
Abstract Wall-mounted swirling ventilation is a new type of system in mechanized excavation faces with dust suppression performance that closely related to the blowing-to-suction flow ratio. Physical and simulation models were developed according No. C103 face Nahe Coal Mine Baise Mining Bureau, Guangxi Province optimize ratio for wall-mounted ventilation. Both k-ε turbulence model discrete phase utilized simulate airflow field structures concentration distribution patterns at various ratios. The results suggest higher ratios increase disturbance around working weaken intensity axial air curtain. On other hand, both radial curtain effect are enhanced. At 0.8, achieved most favorable performance. total respirable had their lowest concentrations maximum efficiencies reducing types 90.33% 87.16%, respectively.

Numerical Study of Reynolds Number Effects on Flow over a Wall-Mounted Cube in a Channel Using LES
Turbulent flow over wall-mounted cube in a channel was investigated numerically using Large Eddy Simulation. The Selective Structure Function model was used to determine eddy viscosity that appeared in the subgrid scale stress terms in momentum equations. Studies were carried out for the flows with Reynolds number ranging from 1000 to 40000. To evaluate the computational results, data was compa...
متن کاملEffects of wall suction/blowing on two-dimensional flow past a confined square cylinder
A numerical simulation is conducted to study the laminar flow past a square cylinder confined in a channel (the ratio of side length of the square to channel width is fixed at 1/4) subjected to a locally uniform blowing/suction speed placed at the top and bottom channel walls. Governing equations with boundary conditions are resolved using a finite volume method in pressure-velocity formulation...

Results from a parallel computational fluid dynamics (CFD) code combined with a ray tracing library for runtime visualization will be presented. Several factors make in-place rendering of CFD data preferable to the use of external rendering packages or dedicated graphics workstations. In-place rendering avoids significant I/O to disks or to networked graphics workstations, and provides the abil...
