چکیده
Abstract X-Ray fluorescence (XRF) is an effective method for chemical profile analysis of various materials. In earlier times, it only confined to qualitative and quantitative analysis. This wavelength dispersive X Ray (WDXRF) will be used check the nuclear design different Molybdenum compounds. Determination of traces of molybdenum and lead in foods by x-ray fluorescence spectrometry
An Energy Dispersive X-ray Fluorescence (EDXRF) method using X-ray emitting isotopes in combination with pre-concentration by carbonization was developed to determine the levels of Mo and Pb accumulated in foods. The samples were carbonized at temperatures range of 150-400°C for 15 min to 2 h for powdering. The powder was then quickly formed into a pellet for EDXRF analysis. This analytical met...
متن کاملComparison of silver and molybdenum microfocus X-ray sources for single-crystal structure determination
The quality of diffraction data obtained using silver and molybdenum microsources has been compared for six model compounds with a wide range of absorption factors. The experiments were performed on two 30 W air-cooled Incoatec IµS microfocus sources with multilayer optics mounted on a Bruker D8 goniometer with a SMART APEX II CCD detector. All data were analysed, processed and refined using st...

High-resolution molybdenum K-edge X-ray emission spectroscopy (XES) was used to characterize the K beta(4) and K beta' ' valence-to-core transition bands in the oxo-Mo compounds K(2)MoO(4), MoO(S(2)CNEt(2))(2), and MoO(2)(S(2)CNEt(2))(2). The K beta(4) and K beta' ' emission bands are attributed to transitions to the Mo 1s core hole from molecular orbitals possessing primarily molybdenum 4d and...
متن کاملAn Introduction to X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) Analysis in Archaeology
As I have discussed in the last chapter, our goal here is not to elucidate XRF for the entire scientific community – this has been done admirably by others – but to translate the physics, mechanics, and art of XRF for those in archaeology and geoarchaeology who use it as one of the many tools to explain the human past in twenty-first century archaeology. While not a simple exercise, it has util...
