Determinants of Vaccine Hesitancy in Indonesia: A Scoping Review

Complete children immunization coverage in Indonesia declined from 59.2% 2013 to 57.9% 2016. Therefore, a study on understanding the vaccination barrier is necessary improve future coverage. This scoping review aims identify determinants of vaccine hesitancy using model World Health Organization-Strategic Advisory Group Expert (WHO-SAGE) working group and map them basis region, target population, vaccine. research used publications seven databases (Science Direct, Wiley, Scopus, SAGE, PubMed, Springer, Taylor & Francis) 2015 2020. A total 10,212 were identified filtered by employing PRISMA method, thereby leaving 24 that featured this review. The majority these quantitative conducted Aceh Yogyakarta investigates complete immunization, with adults parents being population. are mentioned most social-economy, religion/culture/ gender, role health-care professionals, cost, knowledge, awareness about vaccine, attitude toward preventive health behavior.
