Determinants of hand-washing behavior during the infectious phase of COVID-19

Hand washing is one of the most effective measures to reduce risk transmitting infectious diseases. However, motivation for regular hand during phase SARS-CoV-2 infection remains unclear. We examined four possible reasons practicing ? two involved perceived effectiveness this practice in reducing infection, and other motivations. The results our nationwide survey revealed that people conformed people?s hands felt relief from their anxiety when hands. personal reduction, however, showed little effect on behavior, while motivations such as conformity successfully explained a large proportion hand-washing behavior. Our findings suggest policymakers responsible public health should consider social implementing strategies combat COVID-19 pandemic.
