Detection of Polynitro Compounds at Low Concentrations by SERS Using Ni@Au Nanotubes

چکیده

The identification of high-energy compounds in trace concentrations not only the laboratory, but also field conditions is particular interest. process should be clear, easy, and well-recognizable. We formed SERS-active substrates by using elongated nickel nanotubes synthesized electrochemical deposition pores ion-track membranes coated them with gold for further application detection low analytes. were characterized various techniques to determine morphology modifying layer. possibility obtaining two types gold-layer was shown: form a smooth film up 20–50 nm thick coating nanoneedles 250 long. electric fields around simulated at laser wavelength 532 demonstrate influence on distribution. “needle” chosen most effective aromatic polynitro compounds. spectral peaks identified comparing model experimental Raman spectra down 10?5 M. Within this limit, all (“fingerprints” substance) clearly distinguishable.

detection of volatile compounds of medicinal plants with some nano-sorbents using modified or new methodologies and investigation of antioxidant activity of their methanolic extracts

in this work, a novel and fast method for direct analysis of volatile compounds (davc) of medicinal plants has been developed by holding a filament from different parts of a plant in the gc injection port. the extraction and analysis of volatile components of a small amount of plant were carried out in one-step without any sample preparation. after optimization of temperature, extraction time a...

extremal region detection guided by maxima of gradient magnitude

a problem of computer vision applications is to detect regions of interest under dif- ferent imaging conditions. the state-of-the-art maximally stable extremal regions (mser) detects affine covariant regions by applying all possible thresholds on the input image, and through three main steps including: 1) making a component tree of extremal regions’ evolution (enumeration), 2) obtaining region ...

Dithiol compounds at low concentrations increase arsenite toxicity.

Inorganic trivalent arsenicals are vicinal thiol-reacting agents, and dithiothreitol (DTT) is a well-known dithiol agent. Interestingly, both decreasing and increasing effects of DTT on arsenic trioxide-induced apoptosis have been reported. We now provide data to show that, at high concentrations, DTT, dimercaptosuccinic acid (DMSA), and dimercaptopropanesulfonic acid (DMPS) decreased arsenic t...

Detection of potentially toxic metals by SERS using salen complexes.

Surfaced enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) can discriminate between metal complexes due to the characteristic "spectral fingerprints" obtained. As a result, SERS has the potential to develop relatively simple and sensitive methods of detecting and quantifying a range of metal ions in solution. This could be beneficial for the environmental monitoring of potentially toxic metals (PTMs). Here, sal...
