چکیده
Background and objectives: This study aims to detect the H. pylori infection in pediatric patients’ stool samples by using a multiplex urease PCR assay. Materials Methods: A retrospective analysis was performed test from sample of 55 patients evaluated August 2017 November 2018 compared with antigen histopathology. Results: Thirty-six (65%) were detected pylori-positive including nineteen boys (50%) girls (50 %) test. Fifteen (54 positive 0-6 age range, eighteen (95%) 7-12 three (38%) 13-18 range. Comparison results histopathology showed that predictive value for 72.22%. The could negative 100 %. Conclusions: Due this it prevalence is still high patients. be used clinic detection as non-invasive method easy an applicable method, but needs specificity sensitivity accurate results.

متن کاملDetermination of Helicobacter pylori Antigen in Stool Samples and Comparison with Rapid Urease Test in Patients Suspected of Helicobacter Infection
Background and Aims: Helicobacter pylori (H. Pylori) is the microorganism that infects nearly half of word's population. There are several invasive and non-invasive methods for diagnosis of infection. The main objective of this study was to evaluate antigen of H. Pylori in feces with H. pylori stool antigen (HpSA) test and comparison with rapid urease test (RUT) in the patients suspected to be ...

This prospective clinical study was performed to investigate the colonization of H pylori in adenoid and tonsil tissues by using the Campylobacter-like organism (CLO) test. Included in the study were 56 patients aged 3 to 43 yrs who had undergone adenoidectomy, tonsillectomy or adenotonsillectomy procedures under general anesthesia. Two-mm diameter tissue pieces of adenoid and tonsil specimens ...
متن کاملDetection of Helicobacter Pylori Diagnostic Antigens in the Stool of Infected Patients
Background: Some antigens of H. pylori are excreted into the stool of infected people. These antigens can be used to detect the infection by immunoassays such as ELISA. Our aim was to identify these antigens by immunoblotting and affinity chromatography techniques. Methods: Four different antigenic preparations, namely, whole cell sonicate (WCS), outer membrane proteins (OMPs), cytoplasmic anti...
