Detecting Many-Body Bell Nonlocality by Solving Ising Models

چکیده

Bell non-locality represents the ultimate consequence of quantum entanglement, fundamentally undermining classical tenet that spatially-separated degrees freedom possess objective attributes independently act their measurement. Despite its importance, probing in many-body systems is considered to be a formidable challenge, with computational cost scaling exponentially system size. Here we propose and validate an efficient variational scheme, based on solution inverse Ising problems, which polynomial time can probe whether arbitrary set data compatible local theory; and, if not, it delivers inequality violated by data. We use our approach unveil new inequalities, suitable measurements paradigmatic states (the low-energy Heisenberg antiferromagnets), paving way systematic tests realm.

Bell inequality, nonlocality and analyticity

The Bell and the Clauser-Horne-Shimony-Holt inequalities are shown to hold for both the cases of complex and real analytic nonlocality in the setting parameters of Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen-Bohm experiments for spin 12 particles and photons, in both the deterministic and stochastic cases. Therefore, the theoretical and experimental violation of the inequalities by quantum mechanics excludes all h...

Quantum Nonlocality Does Not Exist : Bell ' s Theorem and the Many - Worlds Interpretation

Quantum nonlocality is shown to be an artifact of the Copenhagen Interpretation, which assumes that observers obey the laws of classical mechanics, while observed systems obey quantum mechanics. Locality is restored if this arti cial distinction between observed and observer is abolished, and both are assumed to be subject to quantum mechanics, as in the Many-Worlds Interpretation. Using the MW...

Quantum steering, entanglement and Bell nonlocality

Quantum steering, the ability of one party to perform a measurement on their side of an entangled system with different outcomes leading to different sets of states for another part of the entangled system arbitrarily far away, is a purely quantum phenomena with no classical analogue. However, it is closely related (and indeed equivalent for pure states) to entanglement and Bell nonlocality. Th...

Joint measurability, Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen steering, and Bell nonlocality.

We investigate the relation between the incompatibility of quantum measurements and quantum nonlocality. We show that a set of measurements is not jointly measurable (i.e., incompatible) if and only if it can be used for demonstrating Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen steering, a form of quantum nonlocality. Moreover, we discuss the connection between Bell nonlocality and joint measurability, and give ev...

Entanglement, Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen correlations, Bell nonlocality, and steering

In a recent work Phys. Rev. Lett. 98, 140402 2007 we defined “steering,” a type of quantum nonlocality that is logically distinct from both nonseparability and Bell nonlocality. In the bipartite setting, it hinges on the question of whether Alice can affect Bob’s state at a distance through her choice of measurement. More precisely and operationally, it hinges on the question of whether Alice, ...
