Destination Social Responsibility and Residents’ Environmentally Responsible Behavior: Assessing the Mediating Role of Community Attachment and Involvement

This study revisited the relationship between destination social responsibility (DSR) and residents’ environmentally responsible behavior (ERB) in conjunction with stimulus–organism–response (S-O-R) framework to assess mediating effect of community attachment involvement. The proposed conceptual research model was empirically examined 375 residents from largest tourist destinations Ghana. A cross-sectional design used, structural equation modeling (SEM) applied test role findings this confirmed that DSR has a significant positive attachment, involvement, ERB. In addition, revealed also indirect on ERB through attachment.
