Desorption and Reuse of Pb-BHA-NaOL Collector in Scheelite Flotation

Pb and BHA in Pb-BHA-NaOL collector assembled by lead nitrate (Pb), benzohydroxamic acid (BHA), sodium oleate (NaOL) with a 240:120:1 molar ratio scheelite flotation have the common defects of reagents including high cost, environmental pollution reducing hydrometallurgy efficiency. Therefore, this study, efficient desorption reuse adsorbed on surfaces was first proposed. The test results showed that 80.71% 70.93% could be efficiently desorbed from concentrate through strong stirring for 15 min at pH 13.0 speed 1600 r/min. save 67% 75% BHA. tests real ore also exhibited feasibility industrial application. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy analysis revealed Pb-O, C=O, C-N groups obviously weakened or disappeared. Atomic force microscopy further confirmed most were removed. work not only solves above but provides reference other reagents.
