This research aimed at designing and developing the procedure of storytelling technique activities in teaching speaking narrative text. was conducted SMA Negeri 1 Ambawang academic year 2020/2021. development which consists three phases; analysis, design, development. The result analysis this showed that students lack vocabulary have little time to get a chance speak English. an instructional design storytelling. instruction is formed lesson plan designed six sections: introduction, observing, guiding, practicing, assessing, closing. It recommended teacher use techniques teach English especially skill
