Designing Interactive Multimedia Courses Using STEAM Education

The Department of Design at the State University Malang, Indonesia, has four study programs. Two these are professional design programs: visual communication undergraduate program and animation game diploma. In curriculum two programs there interactive multimedia courses. With number students ranging from 750 minimum, it is necessary to a capable innovative learning model for STEAM education can be used as framework develop lesson plan that adaptable, benchmarked, strongly reinforces standards in unique engaging way improves student competence world professionals. This was descriptive research which procedural development design. Borg Gall explained carried out through several stages, were those this research, namely preliminary studies, planning, initial product development, limited field tests, test revisions, wider test, feasibility revision results dissemination socialization final product. As result innovation produced combines media platforms, such presentations, teaching materials, videos, mobile applications WhatsApp. implemented UM network information system (SIPEJAR) APK application.
