Design of Pairing Mechanisms for the Device-to-Device Communication System

Abstract The potential of device-to-device (D2D) communication lies in improving system performance and user experience. Thus, D2D is widely concerned. For the system, this work investigates pairing problem to maximize sum rate all pairs. To comprehensively compare different algorithms, three mechanisms are proposed based on graph theory matching theory. simulation results show impact network scale optimized results. And for small large scales, Hungary algorithm minimum distance selected as mechanism, respectively.
