Design of NiFe‐based nanostructures for efficient oxygen evolution electrocatalysis

Abstract The excessive using of fossil energy has caused serious environmental pollution, and the development utilization new sources have been a continuing research direction concern. synergistic effect Ni Fe is beneficial to reduce reaction barrier oxygen evolution (OER), therefore NiFe based catalyst represents very promising non‐precious metal OER catalyst. This minireview focuses on optimization strategies for catalysts, summarizes progress made in recent years, discusses mechanisms involved these strategies. After composition structure optimization, catalytic activity stability catalysts improved, which OER. Finally, prospect are provided with reasonable outlook.
