Design methodology of standing-wave thermoacoustic refrigerator: theoretical analysis

Abstract Thermoacoustic refrigeration systems are one of the best alternative solutions for conventional that harmful to environment and humans due global warming ozone layer depletion issues. technology can be considered a renewable clean with promising future its many advantages. A thermoacoustic refrigerator converts acoustic energy thermal (creating cooling effect). In present research, focus is on design standing-wave driven by an ordinary loudspeaker using numerical simulation program DELTAEC concern building apparatus at low cost. addition, investigating influence some crucial parameters power thermal/overall performance. Hence, designed performed well in respect coefficient It has achieved 134.34 W temperature difference between ambient cold heat exchangers 25 K COP 1.956 overall efficiency (electrical converted into power) amounted 113.43%. The could significant when compared others’ results.
