Design and Test of Self-Leveling System for Cleaning Screen of Grain Combine Harvester

As one of the core working parts a combine harvester, cleaning device directly affects operation performance whole machine. This is especially case on hilly and gently sloping terrain, which, due to uneven ground, causes harvester body incline material accumulates side, resulting in high loss rate. To solve this problem, self-leveling screen control system based fuzzy PID algorithm are developed for caterpillar enabling it operate gentle slopes 10°. verify applied system, simulation tests, response comparison field tests were carried out. The indoor test results show that has good tracking effect when inclination amplitude does not exceed maximum leveling error −0.62°, time 1.85 s, overshoot 1.5°. tilt angle within 10°, can stabilize real-time screen. Even with an increase installed automatic still be maintained at low level. rate 1.2% higher after than during flat operation, which meets accuracy requirements design. Therefore, grain harvesters effectively reduce caused by their operation.
