چکیده

In evaluating emerging technology, such as additive manufacturing, it is important to analyse the impact of manufacturing process on efficiency in an objective and quantifiable manner. This study deals with design simulation a bearing housing made from titanium alloy (Ti6Al4V) using selective laser melting (SLM) technique. The Finite Element Analysis (FEA) method was used for assessing suitability Ti6Al4V aerospace application. choice due comparative advantage its strength-to-weight ratio. implicit explicit modules Abaqus software were employed non-linear linear analyses component part. results obtained revealed that sufficiently meets design, functional service requirements produced designed suitable high speed temperature application beyond 1900 K, while maximum stress induced during loading 521 kPa. It evident developed stresses do not result distortion or deformation material yield strength region 820 MPa. work provides data development AM under technique SLM by reflecting knowledge behaviour operating conditions.
