چکیده
Facial tissue loss is acquired as a result of congenital anomalies or acquisitional misshapen like tumoral lesions accidents. These defects in functional problems, esthetic concerns, and also psychosocial troubles could be repaired by plastic surgery reconstructed using facial prostheses. Conventional tissue-supported auricular prostheses meet lots challenges due to dependence on undercut adhesive for retention. Implant-retained lessen the complications related adhesive-retained alleviate need invasive surgery. provide patients with secure retention avoid prosthesis disengagement caused movable surrounding soft tissue. The impact secured satisfactory esthetics self-confidence promising. This paper aimed describe surgical prosthetic workflow patient ear deformity basal cell carcinoma (BCC) which was rehabilitated implant retained prosthesis.

Replacement of missing ears is a challenging task in which extensive array of materials and techniques have been employed. This article describes a different and simplified procedure for fabricating auricular prostheses very similar to the intact left ear of the patient. Reconstruction of a facial defect is a complex modality either surgically or prosthetically, depending on the site, size, etiology, severity, age, and the patient’s expectation. The loss of an auricle, in the presence of an auditory canal, affects hearing, because the auricle gathers sound and directs it into the canal. The auricle acts as a resonator to slightly amplify lower frequency sounds ...

Early prosthetic treatment is believed to be psychologically beneficial to children who have an ear defect resulting from congenital malformation. Lack of soft tissue landmarks and minimal bone thickness in deformed auricular areas are sometimes problematic for craniofacial implant placement in these children. This article describes procedures to confirm locations of craniofacial auricular impl...
