Background: Attention to the professionalism of nursing personnel is increasing in society because it has a close influence on quality health services. So important apply values nurses as foundation ensure care. Purpose: This study was determine description community perceptions nurse professionalism. Methods: used descriptive quantitative approach with cross-sectional approach. The research sample taken using purposive sampling technique involving 106 respondents. Data collection carried out through use questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability 30 residents Serang City Cronbach's Alpha value 0.884. Results: Showed most respondents rated low category (56.6%). In sub-variables, humanity, justice, humility high category. percentage who categories altruism sub-variable same (50%). Meanwhile, sub-variables integrity, advocacy, compassion, inclusiveness, autonomy, courage, caring, low. Judging from hospital, public gave assessment Regional Public Hospitals (43.7%), Official (43.3%), Private (43.2%). Conclusions: Efforts are needed increase nurses' by providing additional support training, internal career development opportunities moving other units, higher further education. Abstrak: Latar Belakang: Perhatian terhadap profesionalisme tenaga keperawatan meningkat di masyarakat karena memiliki pengaruh erat kualitas pelayanan kesehatan. Maka penting untuk menerapkan nilai-nilai pada perawat sebagai landasan menjamin asuhan keperawatan. Tujuan: Penelitian ini adalah mengetahui gambaran persepsi perawat. Metode: menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan cross-sectional. Sampel penelitian diambil teknik melibatkan responden. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penggunaan kuesioner yang telah uji validitas dan reliabilitas kepada warga Kota nilai sebesar 0,884. Hasil: menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar responden menilai dalam kategori rendah (56,6%). Pada sub-variabel, kemanusiaan, keadilan, kerendahan hati tinggi. Persentase tinggi sub-variabel altruisme sama Sementara itu, integritas, advokasi, inklusifitas, otonomi, keberanian, caring , rendah. Dilihat dari rumah sakit, memberikan penilaian RS Umum Daerah (43,7%), Kedinasan (43,3%), Swasta (43,2%).
