چکیده

Abstract Background Finger dermatoglyphics has been used as a genetic marker that contributes to the detection of sports talents and establishment predisposition develop physical capacities. Additionally, it begun venture strategy in early risk factors for development chronic non-communicable diseases (CNCD), with arterial hypertension being one least studied athletes; since its prevalence is < 3%, associated primarily lifestyle. Therefore, objective this study was know correlation between dermatoglyphic characteristics increase blood pressure (BP) young soccer players. Methods Analytical study. The sample 86 male players 18 26 years age; case definition high according AHA classification. Controls were those normal pressure. profile scanned Cummins Midlo protocol on 10 fingers hands. Statistical analyzes processed SPSS 25.0, at significance level p ≤ 0.05. quantitative variables evaluated Shapiro-Wilk test, non-parametric Mann-Whitney qualitative chi-square test. Results test detected an abnormal distribution crests index atrial right hand (RH); middle left (LH), summation - SQTL LH. In addition, significant intergroup difference all fingerprint patterns (arches, loops whorls). Finally, substantial fifth finger LH; fourth RH, ulnar more frequent LH, annular RH BP group. Conclusions Dermatoglyphics are suggested diagnosis elevated athletes. Key messages Dermatoglyphic Early reduces incidence CNCD.

BLOOD PRESSURE COMPONENTS AS PREDICTORS OF ISCHAEMIC HEART DISEASE MORTALITY IN THE WEST OF SCOTLAND

The relative importance of systolic blood pressure (SBP) versus diastolic blood pressure (DBP) in predicting the risk of ischaemic heart disease (IHD) mortality is controversial. We have re-examined SBP compared to D BP and other combinations of SBP and D BP in predicting the risk of IHD mortality in a long-term cohort study oflO,541 men and women in the West of Scotland. During a mean fo...

Postactivation potentiation in elite young soccer players

The aim of this study was to investigate the acute effects of 16 different combinations to cause the postactivation potentiation (PAP) in elite young soccer players. Squat exercise in 4 different intensities (40%, 60%, 80%, and 100% one-repetition maximum [1RM]) was performed and its effects were evaluated in the performance of countermovement jump (CMJ), after 4 different recovery times (1, 3,...
