Dependent head posture dizziness syndrome: a case report

چکیده

Dizziness is a symptom frequently encountered in clinical settings and requires comprehensive differential screening process. The dizziness types commonly referred to rehabilitation are peripheral central vestibular disorders, hypofunction, cervicogenic dizziness. While continues present as diagnosis of exclusion, there some agreement that cervical mobility important maintain integrity. This case report highlights the importance maintenance balance equilibrium. Consequently, its lack thereof, causing dizziness, also described. relevance hypomobility has been previously described, possible correlation between dependent postures semicircular canals brought light. Functional postural compensations caused by which may turn favor potential otoconia displacement, described speculation. A study relevant this speculation presented. Further research needed support validate restoring functional during routine emphasized.
