چکیده
We experimentally characterize the ionic emission, including individual charge states Snz+ (z=1, …, 8), from laser-produced tin plasma as a function of intensity employed ns-pulsed laser. The is generated in vacuum microdroplets (diameter ranging 17 to 35 μm) using pulsed Nd:YAG laser light (laser wavelength λ=1.064 over range intensities (0.4–40×1010 W/cm2). measure charge-state-resolved and integrated ion energy distributions at seven angular positions around retarding field analyzers. highlight peak features both types spectra describe dependence their energies on with power-law functions. resulting power laws match those derived radiation hydrodynamics theory. analytical scaling exhibit strong isotropy, while are highly anisotropic.

متن کاملEffect of prepulse laser wavelength on EUV emission from CO2 reheated laser-produced Sn plasma
We investigated the role of prepulse laser wavelength on extreme-ultraviolet (EUV) emission and ionic debris generation. A 6 ns Nd:YAG laser operating at 266 nm was used to generate a pre-plasma that was then reheated by a 35 ns CO2 laser pumping pulse at 10.6 μm. At an ideal delay time, improvement in EUV conversion efficiency (CE) of up to 30 % was seen compared to the CE from the pumping pul...
متن کاملCharacteristics of Ions Emission from Ultrashort Laser Produced Plasma
The dynamic characteristics of the ions emitted from ultrashort laser interaction with materials were studied. A series of successive experiments were conducted for six different elements (C, Al, Cu, Mo, Gd, and W) using 40 fs, 800 nm Ti: Sapphire laser. Time-of-flight (TOF) ion profile was analyzed and charge emission dependencies were investigated. The effects of incident laser interaction wi...
متن کاملLate-time particle emission from laser-produced graphite plasma
We report a late-time “fireworks-like” particle emission from laser-produced graphite plasma during its evolution. Plasmas were produced using graphite targets excited with 1064 nm Nd: yttrium aluminum garnet (YAG) laser in vacuum. The time evolution of graphite plasma was investigated using fast gated imaging and visible emission spectroscopy. The emission dynamics of plasma is rapidly changin...
