Delivering more to cell edge via joint multi‐cell non‐orthogonal multiple access and traffic offloading

چکیده

We consider leveraging the joint potential of non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) and traffic offloading to benefit cell-edge users in multi-cell scenarios. formulate edge-driven throughput maximisation problem where both decision resource allocation are be optimised, accounting for impact inter-cell interference on decoding order NOMA. The is not given constants as it influenced by allocation. Therefore known a priori. explore decomposing into two subproblems. By analysis structural properties, we derive algorithm modules which interact iteratively reciprocity, forming overall algorithm. Numerical results show that proposed scheme considerably improves throughput, compared with conventional orthogonal without offloading.

Joint Scheduling and Power Allocations for Traffic Offloading via Dual-Connectivity

With the rapid growth of mobile traffic demand, a promising approach to relieve cellular network congestion is to offload users’ traffic to small-cell networks. In this paper, we investigate how the mobile users (MUs) can effectively offload traffic by taking advantage of the capability of dual-connectivity, which enables an MU to simultaneously communicate with a macro base station (BS) and a ...

Delivering multiple medications via backpriming.

www.nursingcenter.com SUPPOSE YOU’RE caring for a patient who’s receiving 5% dextrose in 0.9% sodium chloride solution at 100 ml per hour, along with 600 mg of clindamycin every 8 hours and 80 mg of tobramycin every 8 hours. Piggybacking the antibiotics into the primary administration set is a common practice, but using a secondary set for each medication requires frequent connection and discon...

Delivering Improved Multiple Services to IP Traffic in DiffServ Networks

This short paper presents the results of a research on the design, implementation and analysis of a packet scheduling mechanism for multi-traffic classes in the context of DiffServ networks. Our studies aimed at providing QoS assurances to real-time applications over IP networks. We began by identifying that QoS performance guarantees per-class of traffic aggregate are inherently required in th...

Nonorthogonal Multiple Access for Beamforming in Energy-Harvesting Enabled Networks

Wireless power transfer via radio-frequency (RF) radiation is regarded as a potential solution to energize energy-constrained users, who are deployed close to the base stations (near-by users). However, energy transfer requires much more transmit power than normal information transfer, which makes it very challenging to provide the quality of service in terms of throughput for all near-by users...

Cellular traffic offloading via opportunistic networking with reinforcement learning

The widespread diffusion of mobile phones is triggering an exponential growth of mobile data traffic that is likely to cause, in the near future, considerable traffic overload issues even in last-generation cellular networks. Offloading part of the traffic to other networks is considered a very promising approach and, in particular, in this paper we consider offloading through opportunistic net...
