Decompression procedure as a successful initial approach to large maxillary dentigerous cyst in 12- year-old boy - a case report

Introduction. A dentigerous cyst is a pathological lesion associated with the crown of unerupted or impacted tooth. Decompression proposed as initial treatment for large cysts, especially in younger patients. The aim this study was to present clinical, radiological, histopathological, and therapeutical aspects maxilla. Case report. 12-year-old boy maxilla referred our clinic. maxillary left canine. Management included decompression biopsy, followed by secondary enucleation after 9 months orthodontic treatment. Histopathological examination confirmed definitive diagnosis cyst. Conclusion.
