This article examines decolonization efforts at the Indigenous Authors Collection University of Calgary in Canada. The 47-book collection is an example a attempt by University, which aligns with institution's strategy. project enhanced adding Canadian authors and providing culturally appropriate metadata to increase visibility access library’s catalogue. discuss problems they faced current standards not allowing use special characters, enhancements made, implications cataloguing policies workflow for other collections. also demonstrate how users view their changes show new ways that can interact collection. They explore future possibilities linked data practices offer display author information from local authorities broaden collection’s reach even further.
