Decentral task allocation for industrial AGV-systems with resource constraints

Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) form a large and important part of the logistics transportation systems in today's industry are widely used, especially Europe. Today's AGV-systems offered by global manufacturers almost all operate under some centralized control where single central controller coordinates entire fleet AGVs. There is trend towards decentralized these AGVs make individual decisions that promote flexibility, robustness scalability transport. However, its practical implementation seems to be infancy. In addition lack industrial AGV-systems, we have observed research gap intelligent resource management which tried address previous work proposing more approach. this paper, addressed both perceived AGV task allocation algorithm based on sequential single-item auctions, taking into account constraints, our approach from introduced. We benchmarked new genetic algorithm-based task-allocation solver uses “threshold-100”-charging as strategy. The result proposal architecture constraints could used current add features fleet.
