DAYAH ON THE MOVE: SOCIAL ENGINEERING THROUGH ISLAMIC EDUCATION REFORMATION IN POST-CONFLICT ACEH, INDONESIA

This article examines the institutional transformation of dayah in Post-Conflict Aceh referring to leaders four Islamic boarding schools’ (dayah) view points: principal Dayah Malikussaleh Utara, MUDI Mesra, Samalanga Bireun, Darul Munawwarah, Pidie Jaya and Darussalam Labuhan Haji, South Aceh; personnels Department Education Affairs members DPRA (members House Representative), our study found that began with changes government’s policies through emergence various regulations such as Qanun (Aceh’ made law) Province Governor's regulations. Furthermore, funding sources, curriculum, facilities infrastructure, human resource development, quality assurance development dayah, cooperation financial resource. concludes has had an impact on increasing functionality midst times, educational politics increasingly showing modernization while still maintaining a religious atmosphere environment.
