Data Sharing using PDPA-Compliant Blockchain Architecture in Malaysia

Data privacy is undoubtedly the biggest concern for modern society. also becoming a key policy in data protection regulations. Organizations assemble massive amount of personal users monetary and political purposes. These can be sold commercial purpose without prior knowledge or permission from respective owners. This mitigated by having blockchain to provide much-needed transparency. However, blockchain’s own transparency becomes its disadvantage when owners want completely anonymous. Blockchain’s transparent nature will conflicting with non-linkability. Since publicly viewable, any private transactions being processed through exposed every node network. Hence, implementations must comply acts such as Personal Protection Act (PDPA) have design default. this paper proposes PDPA-compliant architecture trading that provides complete control anonymity users.
