چکیده
Eskişehir Osmangazi Üniversitesi Fen Edebiyat Fakültesi Türk Dili ve Edebiyatı Bölümünde Modern dersleri veren İbrahim Şahin, Yeni profesörüdür. Alanında yayımlanmış eserleri bulunan akademik hayatı boyunca yaptığı bütün çalışmalarında modern edebiyatının içinde yer etmiş yazar şairlerin anlaşılmasına katkı sağlamaktadır. Yazar, Tehlikeli Estetik adlı çalışmasında Yahya Kemal, Mehmet Akif, İsmet Özel, Hilmi Ziya Ülken, Sabahattin Ali, Oğuz Atay, Cemil Meriç, Beşir Ayvazoğlu gibi şair yazarların şiir yazı hayatlarını odağına alır. Kitabında Özel benzeri isimlere, “Doğu, Batı”, “modernizm, gelenek”, “köylülük, şehirlilik” bazı meselelere ilişkin yazıların başkalarının tecrübelerini anlama çabası olduğunu ifade eden bu kitabın kendisinin zihni kaynakları belirtmesinin yanı sıra eserin içerisinde alan genel bir alışkanlığın göstergesi olduğuna da dikkati çekmektedir. Şahsi tecrübelerin yanına kitap sayesinde yeni tecrübeler ekleneceğini yazar, tecrübeleri anlamanın okuyucuyu kültürel olarak zenginleştireceğine çeker.
