Damage caused by Diceraeus (= Dichelops) melacanthus in maize plants subjected to combinations: bioinoculation and imidacloprid seed treatment

The aim of this study was to evaluate the damages caused by Diceraeus (=Dichelops) melacanthus in maize plants subjected bioinoculation with or without imidacloprid seed treatment. In study, five different combinations bioinoculants and treatment were applied seeds a completely randomized design. used Azospirillum brasilense Bradyrhizobium japonicum. From emergence, infestation stink bug D. (one bug/plant), permanence up 21 days after emergence. After period, phytotechnical parameters (shoot root) corn evaluated. general, plant height higher when applied, suggesting compatibility bioinoculants. chlorophyll content regardless whether present. Finally, results indicate that bacteria A. B. japonicum do not induce resistance level present study. Therefore, these can be combination imidacloprid, allowing for greater height, content, reduced damage melacanthus.
