DAG amendment for inverse control of parametric shapes

Parametric shapes model objects as programs producing a geometry based on few semantic degrees of freedom, called hyper-parameters. These are the typical output non-destructive modeling, CAD modeling or rigging. However they suffer from core issue being manipulated only indirectly, through series values rather than itself. In this paper, we introduce an amendment process underlying direct acyclic graph (DAG) parametric shape. This enables local differentiation shape w.r.t. its hyper-parameters that leverage to provide interactive manipulation output. By acting synthesis itself, our method is agnostic variations connectivity and topology may occur in while changing input Furthermore, oblivious internal logic DAG nodes. We illustrate approach collection examples combining nodes found modern packages - such deformation, booleans surfacing operators for which provides user with inverse control over brush stroke metaphor.
