چکیده

Device-to-Device (D2D) communications, which enable direct communication between nearby user devices over the licensed spectrum, have been considered a key technique to improve spectral efficiency and system throughput in cellular networks (CNs). However, limited spectrum resources cannot be sufficient support more users (CUs) D2D meet growth of traffic data future wireless networks. Therefore, Long-Term Evolution-Unlicensed (LTE-U) D2D-Unlicensed (D2D-U) technologies proposed further enhance capacity by extending CUs on unlicensed for communications. In this paper, we consider an LTE network where are allowed share with Wi-Fi users. To maximize sum rate all while guaranteeing each user’s quality service (QoS), jointly access resource allocation. tackle formulated problem, propose matching-iteration-based joint allocation algorithm. Simulation results show that algorithm can significantly compared other benchmark algorithms.

Energy-Efficient Use of Licensed and Unlicensed Bands in D2D-Assisted Cellular Network Systems

To date, the amount of research conducted regarding the subject of energy-efficient transmission in device-to-device (D2D)-assisted cellular network systems simultaneously utilizing both licensed and unlicensed bands is lacking. This topic is of substantial relevance to emerging 5th-generation (5G) cellular network systems, so the present study was conducted in order to address it in a practica...

Spectrum Allocation for Cellular User Based on D2D Communication

The amount of data traffic in cellular networks has been increasing dramatically in the past few decades. To cope with the traffic increase, heterogeneous cellular network has been introduced to improve network performance by offloading traffic to access points (APs) with better link quality. The increase of energy consumption directly increases the greenhouse gas emissions which threatens the ...

Analytical Model for Coexistence Performance Evaluation of WiFi and LTE Licensed-Assisted Access to Unlicensed Spectrum

—LTE Licensed-Assisted Access (LAA) to unlicensed spectrum has been considered as an effective complement in offloading growing traffic since its emergence at 3GPP. Since 2015, 3GPP has launched standardization to develop LAA as a key technology for LTE-Advanced unlicensed spectrum deployment in Rel-13. In this paper, an analytical model is built for the performance evaluation of typical coexi...

Uplink performance enhancement for LTE licensed-assisted access to unlicensed spectrum

Licensed-assisted access (LAA) is a new operation mode of carrier aggregation for the Long Term Evolution Advanced systems to transmit data on both licensed and unlicensed spectrum. To deal with the issue of co-existence with WiFi systems, LAA is required to perform listen-before-talk, which can significantly impact its resource utilization. In this paper, the concept called multi-subframe sche...

The Role of Regulatory in Price Control and Spectrum Allocation to Competing Wireless Access Networks

With the rapid growth of wireless access networks, various providers offer their services using different technologies such as Wi-Fi, Wimax, 3G, 4G and so on. These networks compete for the scarce wireless spectrum. The spectrum is considered to be a scarce resource moderated by the spectrum allocation regulatory (“regulatory” for short) which is the governance body aiming to maximize the socia...
