چکیده
Despite existing studies on pathogenetic role of cytokine (CK) system in lung damage pneumonia, there are still controversial issues cytokine-mediated processes that lead to the prolongation inflammatory process tissue this pathology. The article presents study profile bronchoalveolar secretion (BAS) prolonged course community-acquired pneumonia (CAP). To achieve purpose research, patients with CAP first and last 1-2 days hospital stay concentration pro-inflammatory (IL-1β, IL-2, TNFα, IL-6, IL-8) anti-inflammatory CK (IL-4 IL-10) BAS was determined. When studying acute period CAP, it found a disease subsequently had an increase IL-8, TNF-α IL -2), reduction (IL-4, more significant disproportion ratio their opposition pools (IL-1β/IL-10 TNF-α/IL-10) BAS. In conditions generally accepted therapy not course, various rate improvement indicators is defined. progress slower. At time discharge from hospital, most imbalance predominance activity space.

Patterns of cytokine expression in community-acquired pneumonia.
BACKGROUND Pneumonia continues to be a major cause of disease and death among patients worldwide. Aspects of the host response to infection, such as the release of cytokines, may be contributing to the persistent morbidity and mortality. METHODS Plasma levels of cytokines interleukin (IL)-1 beta, IL-6, and tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-alpha) were measured in critically ill patients with p...
متن کاملClinical profile of recurrent community-acquired pneumonia in children
BACKGROUND The aim of this case-control study was to analyse the clinical characteristics of children with recurrent community-acquired pneumonia (rCAP) affecting different lung areas (DLAs) and compare them with those of children who have never experienced CAP in order to contribute to identifying the best approach to such patients. METHODS The study involved 146 children with ≥2 episodes of...
متن کاملPhagocyte function and cytokine production in community acquired pneumonia.
BACKGROUND It is possible that many deaths from pneumonia may involve the generation of inflammatory mediators and tissue damage by activated phagocytes. To test this hypothesis phagocyte function, plasma levels of interleukin 6 (IL-6), tumour necrosis factor alpha (TNF alpha), and soluble interleukin 2 receptor (IL-2R), disease severity, and outcome have been examined in 46 patients with commu...
متن کاملFactors associated with inflammatory cytokine patterns in community-acquired pneumonia.
Raised systemic levels of interleukin (IL)-6 and IL-10 cytokines have been associated with poorer outcome in community-acquired pneumonia. The aim of our study was to identify potential associated factors with increased levels of IL-6, IL-10, or both cytokines. We performed a prospective study of 685 patients admitted to hospital with community-acquired pneumonia. IL-6 and IL-10 were measured i...
متن کاملFlow Cytometric Determination of Neutrophil CD64 (nCD64) in Children with Community Acquired Pneumonia
Background The expression of CD64 in neutrophils (nCD64) has shown utility in the diagnosis of sepsis. The aim of this study was to evaluate the diagnostic value of neutrophil CD64 in pneumonia as an early marker for infection and correlate its level with the outcome of...
