Cyphetrylin effect on somatostatin receptors expression in transplantable Ca-755 mice tumor

Background. Expression evaluation of somatostatin receptors (SSTRs) in tumor cells is necessary for the reasonable use therapy directed at such receptors. Aim. The affinity determination original analogue cyphetrylin SSTRs transplanted mice mammary adenocarcinoma Ca-755. Materials and methods. Cyphetrylin was synthesized Chemical Synthesis Laboratory Research Institute Experimental Diagnostics Therapy Tumors, N.N. Blokhin National Medical Center Oncology Ministry Health Russia. tablet form administered orally a therapeutic dose 10 mg/kg 7 days to female F1 (C57Bl/6 × DBA/2) tumor-grafted Ca-755 mice. Animals control group were not administreted with сyphetrylin. Tumor tissue samples obtained from animals on 9th 14th after transplantation sent immunohistochemical study, which performed serial paraffin sections by immunoperoxidase method using primary antibodies various types SSTRs. Results . high frequency positive expression SSTR1, SSTR2, SSTR5 (in 80, 100 % samples, respectively) shown animals. As result introduction day inoculation, change receptor status found towards decrease level SSTR2 (80 samples) samples); SSTR1 did samples).
