چکیده
A good understanding of the mechanism oocyte development and maturation, regulatory factors involved therein are important for success a breeding program especially species used in aquaculture. It is crucial females to supply high quality mature oocytes, which generally achieved by fine-tuning meiotic arrest resumption progression. Therefore, knowledge maturation process fundamental methodologies increase fish production TheFigure regulations still not totally understood. The hypothesis whether elevated levels or drop intraoocyte cAMP triggers was investigated denuded goldfish oocytes. In presence agents that elevate like forskolin, dibutyryl cAMP, isobutyl methylxanthine, oocytes inhibited. Whereas 2’deoxyadenosine-3-monophosphate, an inhibitor adenylate cyclase promoted maturation. Forskolin decreased spontaneous as well hormone-induced At 10 µM forskolin added up 4 h after hormonal stimulation completely inhibited Beyond h, however, when had already started, can no longer inhibit Intraoocyte assayed with without immediately within 30 minutes. With it did cause significant decrease until at h. results were consistent findings maintain while necessary sufficient trigger

A BAC library for the goldfish Carassius auratus auratus (Cyprinidae, Cypriniformes).
A goldfish (Carassius auratus auratus) bacterial artificial chromosome genomic library (BAC library) was constructed from one aquarium-bred male specimen (tetraploid, 4n=100, genome size=3.52 pg/cell). The library consists of 128,352 positive clones with an average insert size of 150.4 kb, covering the genome 11-fold. All clones were spotted onto nylon filters and thus are available for screeni...

متن کاملLatent inhibition experiments with goldfish (Carassius auratus).
Evidence of latent inhibition was sought in a series of experiments with goldfish. In Experiment 1, goldfish were given nonreinforced preexposure to a color that subsequently predicted shock in an activity conditioning situation; their performance did not differ from that of control animals preexposed to a markedly different color. In Experiment 2, a group of goldfish given nonreinforced preexp...
متن کاملIsolation of Shewanella putrefaciens from Goldfish (Carassius auratus auratus)
In the present study, the etiological agent that caused mortality in goldfish at an aquarium company located in Bursa in northwestern Turkey was identified. Diseased fish were lethargic, displaying a loss of appetite, ascites, and exophthalmia. Internal examination revealed that the kidney was surrounded by exudate and that the spleen and liver were pale. Microbiological examination showed that...
متن کاملCharacterization of Ghrelin O-Acyltransferase (GOAT) in goldfish (Carassius auratus)
Ghrelin is the only known hormone posttranslationally modified with an acylation. This modification is crucial for most of ghrelin's physiological effects and is catalyzed by the polytopic enzyme ghrelin O-acyltransferase (GOAT). The aim of this study was to characterize GOAT in a teleost model, goldfish (Carassius auratus). First, the full-length cDNA sequence was obtained by RT-PCR and rapid ...
