چکیده
Beech wood is a material commonly used for furniture, and cutting performance the key to improving product quality enterprise benefits. In this work, beech milling experiments using diamond cutters were carried out, changes in power, temperature, surface roughness examined factor analysis method. The main results of work are listed as follows: Firstly, higher speed depth led roughness. Meanwhile, power negatively related rake angle; however, temperature first increased then decreased with increase angle. Furthermore, had greatest impact on roughness, followed by angle speed. Cutting contribution Only significant both Finally, optimal parameters determined be 15°, 54 m/s, 0.5 mm. These values best meet multiple objectives lower which relate superior

متن کاملPrediction of Surface Roughness by Hybrid Artificial Neural Network and Evolutionary Algorithms in End Milling
Machining processes such as end milling are the main steps of production which have major effect on the quality and cost of products. Surface roughness is one of the considerable factors that production managers tend to implement in their decisions. In this study, an artificial neural network is proposed to minimize the surface roughness by tuning the conditions of machining process such as cut...
متن کاملModelling and Analysis of Cutting Force and Surface Roughness in Milling Operation Using TSK-Type Fuzzy Rules
The present paper discusses on development of fuzzy rule based models (FRBMs) for predicting cutting force and surface roughness in milling operation. The models use TakagiSugeno-Kang-type (TSK-type) fuzzy rule to study the effect of four (input) cutting parameters (cutting speed, feed rate, radial depth of cut and axial depth of cut) on outputs (cutting force and surface roughness). The approp...
متن کاملResponse Ant Colony Optimization of End Milling Surface Roughness
Metal cutting processes are important due to increased consumer demands for quality metal cutting related products (more precise tolerances and better product surface roughness) that has driven the metal cutting industry to continuously improve quality control of metal cutting processes. This paper presents optimum surface roughness by using milling mould aluminium alloys (AA6061-T6) with Respo...
