چکیده
Cupuassu (Theobroma grandiflorum [Willd. ex Sprengel] Schumann) seeds constitute the raw material for oil extraction and fabrication of cupulate (product similar to chocolate). However, fungal diseases such as witches’ broom caused by Moniliophthora perniciosa have interfered with large-scale development cupuassu plantations. genetic breeding programmes focus on a variety biotechnological tools or approaches select genes related quality resistance mechanisms. In this study, we used expression interactomics analyses preselected involved in fruit and/or better understand molecular physiological mechanisms associated these plant processes. It was found that (i) resistant susceptible genotypes showed different pulp characteristics well gene patterns; (ii) monosaccharide carbohydrate transport pathways were enhanced during maturation; (iii) sugar accumulation participated signal transduction stress response maturing fruits; (iv) increased phospholipid metabolism translocation, immune system activation. The TgSTP1, TgWRKY33, TgCZF1, TgUBA1 orthologues DIN10, CNI1, TET8 identified approach may be good candidates marker-assisted selection focusing both resistance/tolerance biotic/abiotic stress.

متن کاملSlNCED1 and SlCYP707A2: key genes involved in ABA metabolism during tomato fruit ripening
Abscisic acid (ABA) plays an important role in fruit development and ripening. Here, three NCED genes encoding 9-cis-epoxycarotenoid dioxygenase (NCED, a key enzyme in the ABA biosynthetic pathway) and three CYP707A genes encoding ABA 8'-hydroxylase (a key enzyme in the oxidative catabolism of ABA) were identified in tomato fruit by tobacco rattle virus-induced gene silencing (VIGS). Quantitati...
متن کاملPopulation structure and genetic diversity in natural populations of Theobroma speciosum Willd. Ex Spreng (Malvaceae).
The genus Theobroma found in the Amazon region is composed of 22 species, including Theobroma speciosum, better known as cacauí. These species are constantly threatened by forest fragmentation caused by human activities and require conservation strategies and management aimed at preserving them in their natural environments. The main objective of this study was to analyze the population structu...
