In Nigeria today tie- dyeing is very famous among the Yoruba which it known as Adire. The most outstanding area Abeokuta where still in practice. Other areas are Ibadan, Osogbo, Oyo, Maiduguri, Zaira and Kano. However, wedded wrought iron production with local household needs traditionally culturally a way of life some other African countries.
