چکیده
The molecular and crystal structures of the title complex, [Ru(C 10 H 8 N 2 )(C 12 9 NO)(C 6 OS) ](CF 3 O S) or cis (S) ,trans (O, bpy )-[Ru(bpy)(ppk)(dmso- S ) ](OTf) {bpy = 2,2′-bipyridine, ppk phenyl-2-pyridyl ketone [IUPAC nomenclature: phenyl(pyridine-2-yl)methanone], dmso dimethyl sulfoxide, OTf − trifluoromethanesulfonate}, are reported. Ru 2+ ion has a distorted octahedral geometry with two atoms, atoms ppk, dmso- ligands. carbonyl atom is trans to bpy, pyridyl ligand [ geometry]. One trifluoromethanesulfonate anions disordered over three positions, occupancies 0.4, 0.2, respectively, in refined model. original SQUEEZE [Spek (2015). Acta Cryst. C 71 , 9–18] models were found be almost equivalent, indicating that both model satisfactory.
