Halogen NQR and Crystal Structure of Ammonium Halides
The 1 2 7 I-NQR of(HOCH 2 )3 CNH 3 I was determined in the range 77 < T/K<310. At T = 310 K the NQR signal fades out (Tm = 463 K). The 127I spectrum ( T =77 K.): v, =29.195 MHz, v2 = 14.597 MHz, rj(121l)=0, e Q # zz6 _ 1 (1 2 7 I) = 97.315 MHz, is in agreement with the crystal structure. The 127I NQR spectrum of l,3-diammonium-2,2-dimethylpropane diiodide, (H 3 NCH 2 C(CH 3 ) 2 CH 2 N H 3)2+ -2...
متن کاملNQR and Crystal Structure of 4,5-Dichloroimidazole, C3H2N2C12*
The two line C1 N Q R spectrum of 4,5-dichloroimidazole was measured in the temperature range 7 7 ^ T/K ^389 . The temperature dependence of the N Q R frequencies conforms wi th the Bayer model and no phase transi t ion is indicated in the curves v ( 3 5 C l ) = f(T). Also the temperature coefficients of the C1 N Q R frequencies are "normal" . At 77 K the C1 N Q R frequencies are 37.409 M H z a...
متن کاملHalogen NQR and the Phase Transition in CH3Hg-Halide Family
CH3HgCl (methylmercury(II) chloride, MMC) is a toxic compound, representing also one of the initial steps in the metabolic chain for Hg poisoning. It belongs to the methylmercury(II) halide family with relatively uncomplicated molecular composition which has a simple scheme of molecular vibrations with a single torsional mode. These compounds are known to exhibit different structural phase tran...

متن کاملMetal-catalysed halogen exchange reactions of aryl halides.
Aryl halides are common synthetic targets themselves, and also highly versatile synthetic intermediates. Aryl chlorides are much more widely available and easier to synthesise than the other halide derivatives, so the development of effective methods for interconverting aryl halide derivatives would therefore be extremely useful. This article outlines which transformations are particularly desi...
