Crocin reversed the antitumor effects through up-regulation of MicroRNA-181a in cervical cancer cells

Cervical cancer ranks third in incidence worldwide and is the most frequent gynecological developing countries. This study aimed to investigate effect of crocin on resistance HELA/Ara-C cells chemo-agent Ara-C. which was defined as Ara-C-resistant HELA cell line, were treated with crocin. After that, proliferation, apoptosis, cycle assay examined by MTT assay, AO/EB staining, flow cytometry, respectively. In this study, we found that combining Ara-C significantly inhibited proliferation cell, inhibitory time dependent. Moreover, could induced apoptosis arrest Cells. Further then, transfected mature miRNA-181s mimic control miRNA mimic, Quantitative RT-PCR results demonstrated compared Cells +Ara-C group, miRNA-181a upregulated 1.5-fold + group 1.7-fold The other showed no significant differences. summary, first show might be involved development reversing lines.
