Critical Conditions for Dynamic Recrystallization of S280 Ultra-High-Strength Stainless Steel Based on Work Hardening Rate

Isothermal and constant-strain-rate compression experiments for S280 ultra-high-strength stainless steel were carried out under deformation temperatures of 1000–1150 °C strain rates 0.001–10 s?1 with a Thermecmaster-Z thermal simulator. The flow–stress behavior the alloy was studied hot activation energy calculated. A critical model dynamic recrystallization (DRX) established using work hardening rate first time. results show that positively sensitive to negatively temperature, its curve showed characteristics flow softening. corresponding peak 519.064 kJ/mol. DRX determined from minimum value ??(ln?)/?? ? ? curve. relationship between could be characterized as ?c=0.599?p stress ?c= 0.959?p expressed ?c=0.010Z0.062. research can provide theoretical support avoiding generation actual processing microstructure defects such coarse grains obtaining products excellent properties.
