Criteria for distinguishing looting from other crimes: A comparative analysis

With the beginning of Russian-Ukrainian war, increasingly often crimes a general criminal nature are instead qualified by Article 432 Criminal Code Ukraine, where composition is entirely different. The purpose this study was comprehensive analysis structure offence looting comparing it with other crimes, as well formulating unified practice understanding and qualification in aspect subject study. According to set study, complex scientific methods used, namely, special ones: method statistical research – analyse compare dynamics committing offences related looting; dialectical within framework investigating theory contradictions incorrect comparative legal context analysing positions scientists regarding essence formal logical when defining category “looting”.
