چکیده
Abstract Using goof as water storage space plays a vital role in the ecological environment and economic development of arid mining areas, while rock strength stability coal pillars underground reservoirs are closely related to creep process. In this work, triaxial creep-seepage tests were conducted for samples develop new insights into behavior permeability evolution. The results showed that deformation evolution exhibit three stages, namely, compaction hardening stage before stress threshold, volumetric stage, dilatancy stage. decreases first then increases with strain it is well correlated variation strain.

Permeability evolution during progressive deformation of intact coal and implications for instability in underground coal seams
We report measurements of deformation, strength and permeability evolution during triaxial compression of initially intact coals. Permeability is continuously measured by the constant pressure differential method, together with axial and volumetric strains for both water (H2O) and strongly adsorbing carbon dioxide (CO2) gas. Strength and Young’s modulus increase with increasing confining stress...
متن کاملNoise variability in underground room and pillar coal mines.
Noise in an underground coal mine has dominant components generated mainly from 3 sources: (a) continuous mining machines, (b) roof bolters, and (c) cars/vehicles used to transport personnel and/or coal. Each of these 3 noise sources also has a number of well-defined sub-sources with their own noise characteristics. Sound level meters were used to collect noise data in the form of instantaneous...
متن کاملMetagenome of the Siberian Underground Water Reservoir
We report on the metagenome of a deep subsurface aquifer in the Tomsk region of Russia, sampled via an oil exploration borehole drilled to a depth of 2.8 km. Methanogenic archaea were present in the water along with members of various bacterial phyla, including Firmicutes, Chloroflexi, Bacteroidetes, Ignavibacteriae, and uncultured candidate divisions.
متن کاملEarly Ideas in Underground Coal Gasification and Their Evolution
This article follows the development of early UCG (underground coal gasification) ideas. Historical facts are discussed mainly from the technological perspective and early experiments in UCG are analyzed. Our search for the first successful UCG experiment brings to light a new finding, which was commonly overlooked in previous reviews. We also outline the key role that engineer and inventor A. ...
متن کاملOptimal Water Allocation: Sustainable Management of Dam Reservoir
Scarcity of water resources and huge costs of establishing new hydraulic installations necessitate optimal exploitation from existing reservoirs. Sustainable management and efficient exploitation from existing finite water resources are important factors in water resource management, particularly in the periods of water insufficiency and in dry regions, and on account of competitive allocations...
