Crack growth in rotor P2M steel at elevated temperature

The paper presents a comprehensive computational and experimental study of the crack growth rate during creep-fatigue interaction in compact specimens P2M steel at temperature 550 °C. theoretical part consisted formulation fracture resistance parameters through classical new constitutive equations cracked body state taking into account accumulation damage. Numerical calculations included determination stress-strain fields for conditions elasticity, plasticity, creep, as well distributions nonlinear stress intensity factors C*-integral along length front each tested specimen. interpretation results same shape plan but different thicknesses is given terms elastic factors, creep It was found that under fatigue increases monotonically size comparison with harmonic by an order magnitude or more on geometry. Taking damage causes differences cyclic diagrams. superposition contributions load holding time shows increase total compared to data pure creep.
